Overview of Position
Senior SQA Automation Engineer to take a lead role in developing an automation framework for windows applications. In this senior role, you will define automation processes, manage HP Quality Center administration, and provide leadership and mentoring to team members. As a key member of our Development Team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies which have helped make one of the industry’s leading legal technology and data recovery companies.

Responsibilities
As Senior SQA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts for multiple applications written in .NET, C#, and C++, as well as generating release documentation. You will evaluate and estimate automation requests and define what test cases will be automated. In addition, you will:
• Lead project meetings, providing time estimates and schedules for automation project requests. Ensure that the result of automation activity meets customer needs.
• Set up framework for automated testing spanning multiple windows applications, providing bi-weekly automation project status updates to management.
• Take ownership for HP Quality Center administration
• Create manual and automated test scripts for existing and future projects, mentoring team members as needed
• Write Test Plan and Test Case documents following QA standards; create test data necessary for test execution.
• Generate monthly automation inventory and metrics report.
• Analyze test results and isolate problems to their lowest common denominator

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or related area.
• Extensive automation experience with a strong understanding of HP Quality Center.
• Experience with test automation scripting using Test Partner, VBScript, and C#.
• Proven skills writing and evaluating SQL.
• Proven ability to analyze and comprehend project requirements and design documentation to extract necessary information for accurate test planning.
• Must be able to interact fully with GUI based applications
• Accurately record and provide in-depth documentation of each problem found, track status of defect and verify the resolution, reporting information to appropriate team members and manager(s).
• Verify product documentation is technically correct, error free and user friendly, and provide standard test metrics.
• Provide technical support when required for a product, evaluation or BETA phase of development, and maintain communication with all others involved in system development life cycle.
• Demonstrate effective decision making skills based on analysis with proven ability to manage multiple projects and support requests in a dynamic technology driven environment.
• Possess clear communication skills, both verbal and written; provide support and mentorship to other team members.
