Seeking an experienced certified Scrum Master who can manage a distributed team and a complex software development projects with an aggressive release cycle.
Large, complex software development project with a distributed team and multiple releases; using a scrum software development approach.
Responsible for:Ensures Sprint commitments are made and kept
Ensures the entire Scrum Team is following the Scrum processes Acts as a buffer between the scrum team and any distracting influences
o Protecting the team from outside disturbances while in a Sprint
o Tracking and removing impediments for the team
Supports collaboration / coordination between all roles and team members Ensures Solution, Development Review/Design and Swag meetings take place Facilitates Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Ups, Review and Retrospective meetings Keeps the team focused on the Sprint goals and tasks Holds Scrum team accountable to their commitments Tracks Sprint Burn down, individual capacity and milestones daily and reacting accordingly
Calls attention to discovered Tasks and/or User Stories
Elicits team discussions regarding the affects of discovered items on current Sprint Manages Sprints through identified Development Plan
RequirementsMinimum 2 years Agile experience, including a minimum 2 years scrum software
development experience
Soft skills are more important than technical skills in this role

Ability to effectively manage conflict and strong Scrum Team member
