100K to 124KGrowing company looking for an expert in Enterprise Data Architect to be a major contributor to the success of mission critical, complex, typically large, often enterprise-wide major architecture projects and innovations.

Recognized as an expert and a leader throughout the IT community. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, strategic technological opportunities and requirements. As an individual contributor, this position has no direct line management responsibilities but is a major contributor to the success of mission critical, complex, typically large, often enterprise-wide major architecture projects and innovations. Responsibilities include maintaining domain-level data models, coordinating and working with resources from the business, development, and database administration areas to develop an information solution that advances best practices within Information Architecture.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION

-Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
-Knowledge of Healthcare, Insurance, and/or Financial services industry
-Performs Lead Information Architect role for complex mission critical projects or programs
-Works effectively across technical domains, with Information Architects, Application Architects and other technical resources
-Ensures data is modeled (across technical domains) that meets business requirements
-Participates in technical assessments of vendor products or new technologies from a data architecture perspective
-Participates in Ideation/Affordability assessments, producing assumption-based estimates for the project
-Supports multiple, concurrent projects as well as Service Requests
-Provides resource planning feedback to Architect Manager and participates in planning activities
-Participates in planning activities with project team, providing direction from information architecture perspective
-Ensures alignment to company standards and guiding principles (EAG, Infrastructure, blueprints)
-Participates in work product inspections for other Information Architects within domain
-Establishes domain standards for data architecture with adherence to enterprise practice standards
-Responsible for advancing & promoting the enterprise data standards, metadata mgmt, business semantics, data modeling & information lifecycle management
-Partners with Business Analysts and business partners to identify data requirements for projects
-Identifies risks and issues and recommends effective mitigation strategies
-Facilitates data modeling solution sessions with all stakeholders
-Conducts all required reviews as prescribed in our methodology
-Escalates issues to Architecture Management team as needed
-Creates & maintains conceptual, logical and physical data models that meet business & systems requirements for both OLTP & OLAP environments
-Establishes security procedures that protect and maintain the highest level of confidentiality of all data and systems
Experience Desired:
-Knowledge of enterprise information architecture standards
-Experience with industry leading modeling tools (such as IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, Erwin, Advantage Gen)
-Experience with various information modeling techniques (such as: entity-relationship diagrams, create/read/update/delete matrices, metamodels, UML Class models or data flow diagrams)
-Experience with MultiValue data models (Pick)
