Growing company needs to add two QA contractors for 6 month contract each.
Must have SQL Experience.
Responsibilities• Collaborating with the IT Business Analyst (IT BA) in reviewing and clarifying the scope of delivery and business requirements for the application being tested or customer deliverables
• Defining a test approach/strategy for the application or customer deliverables
• Authoring the Test Suite - test scenarios and test cases traceable to requirements in order to validate the application or customer deliverables
• Coordinating test case reviews with the Program Manager, IT BA and IT Developer
• Preparing the test data for approved test cases
• Test execution of business applications, online applications, document processing capability, and reporting deliverables
• Validating data and reports using SQL and other tools
• Reporting QA metrics and testing status to the IT BA
• Identifying, documenting and tracking issues found during testing
• Coordinating with developers and project team members to triage and resolve issues
• Escalating risks that will directly impact project timelines and deliverables to the IT BA
• Assisting in deployment verification of applications or customer deliverables
• Participating in weekly project team meetings
• Updating status of assigned project tasks and time reporting duties
